How BizPadi Works

BizPadi connects Ghanaian buyers and sellers on a platform built for trust, accountability, and secure payments. Here is exactly what happens when you transact on BizPadi — and how we protect everyone involved.

The Transaction Flow

Every BizPadi transaction follows a structured, trackable flow — from discovery to delivery.

Step 1

Buyer Discovers a Product

A buyer browses BizPadi Marketplace and finds a product or service listed by a verified Ghanaian business.

Step 2

Buyer Chats with Seller

The buyer initiates a conversation with the seller directly in the BizPadi chat. They agree on price, quantity, and delivery terms before any money changes hands.

Step 3

Seller Sends an Invoice

Once terms are agreed, the seller creates a formal invoice through BizPadi. This is the only legitimate way to request payment on the platform — no informal requests, no direct transfers.

Step 4

Buyer Pays Securely via BizPadi

The buyer pays through the BizPadi-hosted invoice using mobile money, card, or bank transfer — powered by Paystack. A 2.5% buyer protection fee is included transparently in the invoice.

Step 5

Seller Delivers

Delivery is arranged directly between the buyer and seller. BizPadi does not handle physical delivery but keeps a full record of the transaction for accountability.

Step 6

Transaction Complete

The buyer receives their goods or service. A receipt is available for download at any time from the BizPadi marketplace under Payments.

BizPadi's Role

BizPadi is a platform facilitator, not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not own products, handle physical delivery, or guarantee the quality of goods sold. What we do is:

  • Provide a secure, trackable payment infrastructure powered by Paystack.
  • Maintain a full record of all invoices, chat conversations, and payment receipts.
  • Verify seller identities through KYC (Ghana Card) to create accountability.
  • Offer a structured dispute resolution process when something goes wrong.
  • Collect a 2.5% Buyer Protection Fee on every transaction to fund dispute resolution and payment processing.

The 2.5% Buyer Protection Fee

Every payment made through BizPadi includes a 2.5% Buyer Protection Fee added to the seller's invoice amount. This fee is shown transparently in every invoice breakdown and receipt — you will never be surprised by a hidden charge. The fee covers Paystack payment processing costs and funds BizPadi's dispute resolution service, which protects you if something goes wrong with your purchase.

What Buyers Should Know

Online fraud is real. The rules below exist to protect your money. Please read them carefully.

Only pay through a BizPadi invoice.

Never send money via mobile money, bank transfer, or any other channel directly to a seller outside BizPadi. Payments made outside the platform cannot be tracked, verified, or disputed.

Do not pay before receiving an official BizPadi invoice.

A legitimate seller on BizPadi will always send you a formal invoice with a clear breakdown of what you are paying for — including the buyer protection fee. If a seller pressures you to pay informally, that is a red flag.

Keep all communication inside BizPadi chat.

Do not move conversations to WhatsApp or other platforms before payment is secured. Chat history inside BizPadi is used as evidence in dispute resolution.

Verify the seller's listing and business profile.

Check the seller's profile, ratings, and listed products before buying. Verified businesses have completed KYC (identity verification) with BizPadi.

Report suspicious activity immediately.

If a seller asks you to pay outside BizPadi, promises unrealistic deals, or stops responding after payment, report them immediately using the Report button on your payment page.

⚠️ BizPadi will never ask you to pay outside the platform.

If anyone claiming to be BizPadi support asks you to send money to a personal mobile money number, bank account, or WhatsApp, it is a scam. Report it immediately to support@bizpadi.app.

What Sellers Should Know

Sellers are the backbone of BizPadi Marketplace. With that trust comes responsibility.

  • List products and services accurately. Misleading descriptions can result in account suspension.
  • Always create invoices through BizPadi — never request payment informally or outside the platform.
  • Respond to buyer inquiries promptly and honor delivery commitments.
  • Complete your business KYC verification to build buyer trust and unlock full platform features.
  • Respond to any dispute raised within 5 business days. Failure to respond may result in a ruling in the buyer's favour.

Payment Dispute Resolution

We take payment disputes seriously. If you paid via BizPadi and something went wrong — you did not receive your item, the item was not as described, or the seller is unresponsive — here is how we handle it.

1. Report the Issue

Use the Report button on your payment page. Provide as much detail as possible including photos or screenshots of the transaction and any communication.

2. BizPadi Reviews

Our team reviews the chat history, invoice, payment record, and any evidence submitted by both parties within 3–5 business days.

3. Seller Is Contacted

We give the seller an opportunity to respond and resolve the issue directly. Most disputes are resolved at this stage.

4. Decision & Resolution

If no resolution is reached, BizPadi makes a final decision based on available evidence. Sellers who repeatedly fail to resolve disputes may be suspended.

Important: BizPadi can only assist with disputes for transactions paid through a BizPadi invoice. Payments made outside the platform — via direct mobile money, bank transfer to a seller, or WhatsApp — are not covered and cannot be investigated or refunded through BizPadi. Always pay on-platform through the invoice you receive in chat.
